Job Description
The UK's leading operator in the management of Public Leisure Facilities currently seeks an experienced Sales Manager for their premium site in West London.
Role Purpose
- To drive local sales activity through effective leadership of the sites Sales Team, and through the development and delivery of an effective local marketing plan which compliments central marketing activity.
- To ensure that the sites sales targets are consistently achieved while supporting the wider business aims of the club as a senior member of the sites team.
Primary Responsibilities
- Recruit, develop and lead an engaged and successful team of Membership Sales Consultants.
- Ensure that basic training requirements are met for all Consultants.
- Communicate and monitor customer service levels.
- Regualarly review Consultants performance and deal with any performance related issues.
- Actively engage with prospects, demonstrating best practice sales techniques.
- Contribute effectively at Head of Department meetings and also departmental meetings with Sales Team.
Operational Responsibilities
- Develop and implement monthly Marketing Plans to generate sufficient leads.
- Implement central marketing campaigns.
- Monitor KPI's and take action to enure these are in line with target/trend.
- Ensure accurate reporting (daily, weekly and monthly)
- Manage the membership database and provide accurate statistical information to the General Manager, Regional Director and the Central Sales and Marketing Team.
- Participate in Duty Management rota where required.
