Job Description

Our client owns a prestigious group of Golf, Fitness Country Clubs in the United Kingdom. The clubs offer modern, top of the range facilities in tranquil surroundings. They are now looking for a Membership Sales Manager for their site in the North West of England.

Main Responsibilities:

 

  • Supervising a team of sales executives on a daily basis. Motivating staff, implementing sales initiatives and producing weekly sales plans.
  • Chairing team meetings and conducting one-on-one performance reviews.
  • Acting as a proactive member of the club team and leading by example.
  • Reaching and regularly exceeding personal sales targets for the day, week and month.
  • Portraying a friendly and professional image at all times.
  • Successfully selling joining packages by undertaking guided tours of the premises, providing a thorough explanation of the facilities available, discussing prices and negotiating discounts for bulk sales (e.g. corporate packages).
  • Marketing and selling associated items such as personal training packages, fitness clothing and beauty.
  • Contacting existing members regarding special promotions and offers for friends and family.
  • Responsible for organising and participating in off-site promotional activities
  • Preparing daily spreadsheets on individual staff performance, analysing figures, conducting comparisons with previous sales figures and identifying training needs.
  • Adopting a flexible approach at all times in order to deal with the high amount of walk-in enquires and phone calls that are received each day. Converting enquiries into confirmed sales.
  • Working shift hours which include late evenings and weekends.

 The successful candidate will have previous experience within a Membership Sales Management role and be passionate about the Health, Fitness and Golf Industry.
