Job Description
My client is a prestigious Health & Racquets Club providing unrivalled facilities for all the family. They are seeking a high calibre conference & banqueting co-ordinator to co-ordinate bookings and liase with clients to optimise revenues for the banqueting suite. To further assist in the promotion, organisation and communication of club events and social activities, and assist in general food and beverage administration.
Duties & Responsibilities include:
- To effectively and efficiently forecast monthly revenues and profitability, identifying any gaps with respect to budget, and taking strategic action to bridge those gaps.
• To work towards strict key performance indicators (K.P.I.s), as dictated by the Food & Beverage Manager/General Manager
- To regularly generate new ideas, and action, in order to drive new businesses towards the facility.
- Develop and implement monthly marketing plan.
- To report weekly figures to the Food & Beverage Manager, providing week's figures, MTD figures, forecasted monthly outrun, performance against budget, with review of week's actions (successful or not).
- To be familiar with capacities and room layouts so as to sell the Ivy Suite to its maximum advantage.
- To be familiar with all menus, beverages, service styles and other miscellaneous elements that can be offered to potential clients.
- To assist in the execution of appropriate marketing activity, within pre-scribed budgets - including advertising, database capture and communication, familiarisation evenings, cold calling, mail drops etc. to optimise revenues.
- To act as the main reference for all meetings and celebration enquiries, responding in writing, with full information within 24 hours.
- To ensure all enquiries and provisional bookings are routinely chased to secure maximum conversion.
